INSURANCE OPTIONS
STANDARD RATE Standard rate leaves you still to pay a Bond/Excess of AU$5000 (Debited and refunded if no claims) or options as below can be taken to reduce bond/excess. (Options are payable at the depot except All Inclusive which should be booked when reserving the vehicle)

Insurance option with Standard Rate:
Excess Reduction 1: AU$22 per day reduces bond to AU$2500 (Debited and refunded if no claims)
Excess Reduction 2: AU$37 per day reduces bond to Nil - A security deposit of AU$250 (Credit card imprint only) is taken at vehicle pick up time.

ALL INCLUSIVE PACKAGE - FULL INSURANCE
All Inclusive Package is available to travellers for AU$50 per day and reduces the excess to Nil on any vehicle and third party property damage; also includes Table and chairs, LP Gas Refill Fee, Extra driver fee, Linen and bedding kits, 3% Administration fee/taxes, and Baby or booster seat(s). A security deposit of AU$250 is made at the time of pickup to ensure that the vehicle is returned to the agreed location, on the agreed date in clean condition. - 50 Days Max Charge (AU$2500)

OPTIONAL TOLL PACKAGE
The Toll Package can be purchased for $29 (payable on pick up) and includes:
- Unlimited toll crossings (maximum $50.00)
- No toll administration fee

4WD ADDITIONAL COVER OPTION
(Only available if Option 2 or All Inclusive Package chosen). One off payment of AU$199 per hire covers accidental damage to the over-head and under-body sections of the 4WD Campervan, unlimited tyre and windscreen cover, damage to the awning, and towing and vehicle recovery costs from 4WD roads where permission from Cheapa to travel on these roads has been granted.

ONE WAY FEES
One-way rentals are available between depot locations. A one way rental fee of AUD 350 applies to vehicle pickups and/or dropoffs in Alice Springs, Broome, Darwin. AUD 260 applies to vehicle pickups and/or drop-offs in Adelaide, Brisbane, Cairns, Melbourne, Sydney, or Perth. Multiple rentals are treated as separate rentals. The fee is waived for hires over 21 days.

LOCATION FEES
A fee of AUD 750 applies to vehicles picked up or dropped off in Broome. This is in addition to the one way fee if applicable.

EXTRA DRIVER FEE
The extra driver fee is AU$3 per day, per driver. This is included in the All Inclusive Package.

LINEN AND BEDDING KITS
Linen and bedding is not included in the Standard hire price. Linen and bedding kits are AU$35 per person per rental. Linen and bedding kits are included in the All Inclusive Package.

3% ADMINISTRATION/ VEHICLE REGISTRATION RECOVERY FEE
A charge of 3% of the total cost will be levied to cover administration fees, state government taxes, vehicle registration recovery, duties and associated costs. This fee is included in the All Inclusive Package.

Adelaide, Alice Springs, Brisbane, Broome (only 4WD), Cairns, Darwin, Melbourne, Perth, Sydney

PUBLIC HOLIDAY SURCHARGE
All rentals picking up or dropping off on the following days will incur an additional AU$100 surcharge:
Anzac Day
Boxing Day

Cheapa Welcome Pack
Each vehicle is supplied with a complimentary Cheapa Pack for the first night. The pack contains, matches, mini shampoo and conditioner, dishwashing liquid, sponge, soap, salt and pepper, coffee, tea and sugar satchels.

First Aid Kits
A First Aid kit is supplied in every vehicle. If the seal is broken or the Kit is not returned the Kit becomes the property of the renter and a AU$50 fee is charged when the vehicle is returned.

MINIMUM HIRE PERIOD
The minimum hire period is 7 days. A 10 day minimum rental period applies during the period of 15 December to 5 January. During the Bathurst (1/10 - 7/10) and Phillip Island Races a 10 day minimum rental period applies from Cairns, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide Branches. One way hire minimums also vary depending on locations.

DRIVERS LICENSES
All drivers must be at least 21 years old (Max 75) and hold a full and current Australian driver's licence, or an International Driving Licence, or a licence from the country of origin with English translation.

BOOKING AMENDMENTS WITH FLEX RATES
A AU$25 fee will apply to amend a flex booking. If a change to a flex booking is made then the booking will be calculated by using either the original flex rate or the flex rate that is valid at the time of the booking change, depending on whichever rate is higher. There are no exceptions to this rule. The following situations are classified as booking alterations: Change of date for vehicle pick-up or drop-off, Change of location (depot) for vehicle pick-up or drop-off, Change of vehicle category, Customer name change. If an amendment is made to the rental dates within 14 days of collection, no refund will be made if the length of hire is shortened (that is; the rental will be charged at the number of days originally booked). A relocation fee may apply if the collection or return location is amended within 14 days of vehicle pick up or if notification occurs during the hire.
