GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS OF HIRE

IMPORTANT NOTE: IF A CREDIT CARD IS NOT PRESENTED UPON PICKUP THE CLIENT WILL BE DENIED TO RENT THE CAMERVAN AND FULL CANCELLATION FEES WILL BE APPLIED.

BOND REDUCTION INSURANCE OR BOND, ONE WAY FEES, LOCATON FEES

INSURANCE OPTIONS
STANDARD RATE (minimum level of insurance and already included in the quoted rate). Standard rate leaves you still to pay a Bond/Excess of AU$7,500 (Debited and refunded if no claims) Insurance options with Standard Rate:
Excess Reduction 1: AU$34 per day reduces bond to AU$3500 (Debited)
Excess Reduction 2: AU$52 per day reduces bond to AU$500 (Credit Card imprint only) payable at the time of pickup to ensure that the vehicle is returned to the agreed location, on the agreed date in clean condition and is then fully Refunded.

BRITZ BONUS PACKAGE
The Britz Bonus Package component of AU$75 per day (maximum AU$3750 per rental) is payable in addition to the daily rental rate.
Inclusions are: Bond/excess to AU$500, the Britz Bonus Pack includes: Excess Reduction Option 2 (Nil excess), One Way fee (if applicable), PGO (Pre-purchase gas option), 1 x Table, and Chairs (chairs per person travelling)

4WD EASY COVER PLUS OPTION
(Only available if Option 2 or Bonus Package chosen). One off payment of AU$350 per hire reduces the security deposit to Nil. Covers for accidental damage to overhead and underbody, unlimited tyre and windscreen cover and towing/vehicle recovery costs from 4WD roads where permission from Britz to travel on these roads has been granted. It does not cover single vehicle roll-over.

ADDITIONAL PROTECTION COVERAGE
Additional Protection Coverage covers for the cost of a single vehicle rollover accident (otherwise single vehicle rollovers are not covered). Additional Protection Coverage can only be purchased in conjunction with Liability Reduction Option 2 or the Bonus Pack and is an additional AU$99.

MINIMUM HIRE PERIOD
Minimum rental period is 5 days with the following exceptions. 4, 5 & 6 berth rentals from Sydney over the Bathurst period, and Melbourne over the Moto GP period require a minimum of 7 days. 4, 5 & 6 berth rentals between 15 December and 5 January require a minimum of 10 days and all other vehicles over this time 7 days. Minimum rental period for one-way rentals vary depending on the locations.

PUBLIC HOLIDAY SURCHARGE
A AU$100 surcharge will apply to all rentals picking up and/or dropping off on National public holidays:
Easter Monday
Good Friday
ANZAC Day
Boxing Day

DRIVERS LICENSES
All drivers must be at least 21 years old and hold a full and current Australian driver's licence, or an International Driving Licence, or a licence from the country of origin with English translation.
