1)  Uluru has a twin! Well nearly... Fool-uru (Mount Conner) is the first thing you’ll see from the window of your plane as you cross the orange plains of Central Australia. It looks similar to the more famous rock but has much straighter edges and a flatter top.

2)  Uluru changes shape close up. Uluru is quite different from how it typically appears to be in post cards. Uluru has many irregular slopes, ridges, canyons, and caves

3)  Uluru is not all dry and barren. Uluru has its own Waterhole called Mutitjulu where trees and animals live in a cool and lush environment

4)  Uluru isn’t the biggest monolith in Australia, or the world! Mount Augustus in Western Australia holds that title.
